What is BUNGEE FITNESS?
In a Bungee Fitness class, participants wear a padded harness attached to ceiling-mounted bungee cords. These bungee stations are safety rated from 90-250 lbs. This setup enables a high-intensity, low-impact workout to dance music, reducing joint stress by 50-70%.
This low-impact cardio workout involves flying and diving movements, engaging core and legs. Bungee is all level friendly and all skills can be modified to your needs.
You might consider bungee fitness if you have ever wondered what it's like to work out sans gravity or feel like you are walking with trampolines on your feet. Bungees are stretchy, bouncy bands that attach to the ceiling and are harnessed to your waist. The cords create a resistance that forces you to recruit various muscle groups to work against it.
Are bungee workouts effective? This low-impact cardio exercise works your entire body and might help with weight loss. Plus, you may find the novelty of moving your body with a bungee to be fun, which may encourage you to keep at it.
